According to the programme 'Punto Pelota', in a conversation held in one of the executive boxes in the Vicente Calderón, Atlético Madrid president Enrique Cerezo revealed that Radamel Falcao had struck some kind of deal with Real Madrid.
The information came to light during Atlético's home game against Celta Vigo in which Cerezo talked to one of the guests and was asked about the Colombian striker's future: "Falcao signed some kind of agreement with Real Madrid a while ago," answered the 'colchonero' president.
What's more, the programme's director and presenter, Josep Pedrerol, had previously talked about the conversation the 'rojiblanco' striker had with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez during the AS Award Ceremony held in December. "I'll pass you over the serviette later," Florentino had told Falcao in what is now dubbed as 'Palace Agreement'.
Just a few days ago Falcao talked about how happy he was during the football conferences held in Dubai, but also admitted his uncertainty over what would happen beyond June. Atlético Madrid's managing director, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, also said: "Falcao has earned the right to decide his future," and it is understood that Atlético would not get in the way of a transfer after all he has given the club since his arrival.
