Fans shouted the keeper's name as he ran onto the training pitch. There were no banners protesting against Mourinho and Florentino made an appearance to sign autographs.

The 5,000 or so supporters that turned up to see Real Madrid begin training after the holiday season shouted Iker Casillas' name when he ran onto Madrid's Valdebabas training ground. The beginning of the session, which Mourinho decided to leave open after the defeat to Málaga, saw fans shout "Iker, Iker", though no banners could be seen in support of the goalkeeper or in protest again Mourinho.

In order to sell the 7,000 available tickets to the training session, club president Florentino Pérez was also in attendance and signed autographs for around an hour.

The Portuguese coach also called up Llorente, the right-back from Real Madrid C and Adri, the left-back from the Youth Team A. Casillas and Jesús trained with the goalkeeping coach, while Mourinho made Adán train with the rest of the players.
