Former Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, is confident Pep Guardiola will return to football coaching in 2013 after he left the Catalan club last season to take a year out from the game.
Laporta, who still has a close relationship with Guardiola, told 'Expressen': "Pep will be back training next year. He has a huge personality, clear ideas and is very intelligent."
Nevertheless, Laporta didn't feel that PSG would be his next stop: "Paris? I don't think they'll persuade him to coach there. I'm not sure there is the right set-up for him at Paris Sain-Germain," he said.
Asked about Pep's next possible challenge, he explained: "Many things will affect his decision and he'll weigh up every option. He wants the power to make sporting decisions and he must be comfortable working there."
Finally, he also explained what would be key to attracting Guardiola: "All the big clubs would have Guardiola in charge. What will persuade him? He likes to create." He also confirmed that: "He's the best trainer in the world."
