Former Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita has spent the last few days training with 'Los Azulgranas' in order to get fit in time for the African Cup of Nations in January, and has admitted to feeling like an excited child at the experience.
Keita left Barcelona last summer to join Chinese side Dalian Aerbin but told the media that "it's like nothing has changed at all" at the club and declared "I'm very proud to be here with my team-mates and friends".
"I was on holiday and I called Tito to see if I could train a bit with the team," explained the Mali international.
"He told me it was fine. I turn 33 years old in January, but being able to train here makes me feel like a child."
Keita said that former coach Pep Guardiola "had a huge influence" on the team but also praised current coach Tito Vilanova for maintaining success with the team.
"Tito was also there for those four years and the team is the same as before and that's why they keep on winning. There is a mentality and a humility to the team which creates a great atmosphere."
