Leo Messi has been working in the Barcelona gym this morning and will not return to full training with the rest of his team-mates until Saturday, when the club's doctors will decide whether or not he is fit to play against Real Betis on Sunday night.
The Argentine was stretchered off during Barcelona's 0-0 draw with Benfica on Wednesday night at the Camp Nou with bruising to his left knee.
But Messi arrived at Barça's training ground on Thursday morning without any visible problems or symptoms of pain.
Aside from Messi, every player that started on Wednesday participated in the recuperation session on Thursday morning, and were joined by Andrés Iniesta, Aléxi Sánchez, Jordi Alba, Dani Alves, Marc Bartra Cristian Tello and, Barça B player Javier Espinosa.
Eric Abidal conducted training on the pitch but away from the rest of the group.
