Thiago Alcántara spoke of his pride of playing alongside his brother Rafinha and against his cousin Rodrigo in Barcelona's 0-0 draw with Benfica, but expressed his concern about Leo Messi's injury.
Messi's injury: "This was a game we wanted to win but in the end we have the bad news of Messi's untimely injury. We don't know what injury it is, I didn't see exactly what happened, but Messi had a worried look on his face."
Playing alongside Rafinha and Rodrigo: "We discussed the possibility of the three of us playing the match in the build up to the game. It's been very emotional and I'm sure that our family really enjoyed it. It was beautiful."
The performance of the academy players and his fitness: "These are young lads that got the chance to see how the first team play and they learn by doing. I feel good after my injury, now I just want to get back into the rhythm of games."
