Atlético Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has talked up his club's strengths ahead of the Madrid derby on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabéu, where Atleti will attempt to get their first win over their local rivals in 14 years.
In an interview with 'Cuatro', Cerezo praised every aspect of 'Los Colchoneros', saying: "We have a magnificent coach, a magnificent squad, magnificent fans and magnificent directors."
However, like coach Diego Simeone, he refused to talk about the game with Real Madrid until after Atléti's game with Real Jaén in the Copa del Rey.
Simeone: "El Cholo's future is very simple: he loves being at Atlético and we are delighted to have him with us. When it comes round to talking about his new contract all it will take is for both of us to say "yes" and he'll continue with us."
Falcao: "He is the best number nine in the world at the moment. He is also a lovely, kind guy, and he never loses his temper."
Falcao's future: "I can say that he has told me personally that he loves being at this club. He tells me he is very happy here and that he wants to honour his contract but one day, we don't know when, he would like to try out another league. I know that day will come, but it won't be anytime soon."
