Spain's under-21 team face a difficult European Championships in Israel next year, after being drawn alongside Holland, Russia and Germany in Group B.
It is a difficult group for Julen Lopetegui's side, but one they should be able to overcome, such is the quality within the squad.
Just eight teams will contest the tournament, which begins on 5 June, with the final being played on 18 June. Only the top two teams in the group will qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.
Group A consists of hosts Israel plus England, Norway and Italy.
Spain go into the tournament as reigning champions, having won the 2011 tournament thanks to a team including Thiago Alcántara, Javi Martínez and Juan Mata.
