'El Cholo' Simeone gave his usual press conference ahead of Atlético Madrid's game against Sevilla tomorrow.
Asked about Sevilla, he said: "You can't relax against any team in Spain. Nowadays in this league you hardly ever see a 0-0 draw, every week you see the intensity that is required in each game."
"Sevilla's right side is one of the best in La Liga. We know that Negredo won't feature, but Babá brings something different to the team."
"For tomorrow's game we're still not sure about Adrián and Diego Costa. Diego is a very powerful player, very direct. He's also aggressive and isn't fazed by anything. Hopefully he'll carry on like that."
When asked about the atmosphere in the Vicente Calderón, he said: "It's a great stadium. Both the players and coaching staff experience it every day."
Thiago will replace the suspended Mario Suárez: "I have no doubt he will have a great game, he's a player that rises to the task."
When asked about the Madrid derby, he emphasised that: "We have to take one game at a time. The moment we start getting ahead of ourselves our level will drop."
Aside from football, Simeone was also asked about Formula 1: "With respect to Formula 1, I doubt very much that at five p.m. we'll be paying attention, but of course I wish any Spanish sportsman all the best."
