La Nación: "With two goals from Messi Barcelona thump Spartak and qualify for the knock out stages. Lionel Messi is closer every day to Gerd Müller's record. With his two goals in the 3-0 win for Barcelona Leo hit 80 for the year and only needs five more to reach the German's record".
