Cesc Fábregas faced the media ahead of Barcelona's Champions League match with Spartak Moscow on Tuesday, and assured journalists that the artificial pitch of the Luzniki stadium "will not be a problem".
"We always struggle in Russia. It will be a very difficult game but we are only thinking about going there and winning," said the Catalan.
"We saw Spartak's potential in the Camp Nou [the game finished 3-2 to Barça, despite Unai emery's side taking the lead in the second half]. They are a very tough team and they are very disciplined."
Despite the difficulties that Spartak pose, Fàbregas declared that Barcelona will not change their strategy in Moscow.
"We always play in the same way, we will not have to adapt to how they play."
The midfielder also spoke about his own situation within the Barcelona team.
"I always try to play as best as I can and at the end of the day the coach decides who plays a lot. I play quite a lot of games and I'm happy with that."
