After a day in which Racing Santander lost 3-0 at home to Villarreal and a number of Racing fans invaded the pitch, club coach Fabri González added fuel to the fire by blaming the media for the club's critical situation.
"You lot are feeding this civil war which is going to drive this club into extinction," Fabri journalists in the post-match press conference.
The coach also ruled out quitting the club, which are currently 18th in the Segunda División A.
"I've not thought about resigning, I'm not directly responsible for building this squad. I came to this club to work like a bastard and if things don't go well here, I might not have a team to coach next year."
